Hi, everyone. I'm Brian Krueger with CollegeGrad.com and this is The Job Search Minute. What is the basic resume structure? There are five primary sections. The first section is contact info, top and center. The second section is your objective. Yes, you need an objective. Don’t expect others to figure it out for you based on your resume contents. The third section is your summary. Two-four bullet points that summarize who you are and what makes you unique. The fourth section is Education. Degree, date, college or university. The fifth section is your experience. Title, dates employed, employer, then list your responsibilities and your results. Most people miss the results part.
